| Max, here is attempt of reconstruction of Decisive Las Navas de Tolosa fight(16.07. 1212)
Christian vanguard began the attack,breaking through Arab and Berber skirmishers., and, suppported by the main battle-line, attacked the main body of Muwahid Army. Sanguiniary but undecisive combat raged for hours, with considerable losses, but when Khaliph ordered his reserves into the struggle, wearied Christian center and wings were forced back(repulsed). Alphonso VIII, resolved to conquer or die, threw himself and the strong rearward into the attack, while Peter II and Sancho VII rallied the wings. In the face of general Christian counter-assault and their fierce onslaught, that turned into murderous hand-to-hand melee, the Moslems ranks were broken and repulsed. The whole defeated moslem army, unable to re-deploy, was pursued by Christian cavalry with great slaughter
